  • 1/2 tsp of dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or adjust to taste)

Instructions

  • Start by adding 2 tablespoons of butter to the pot of your rice cooker.
  • Turn on the rice cooker and melt the butter.
  • Once the butter is melted, add 1/3 cup of dry orzo pasta to the pot.
  • Stir the orzo for a few minutes until it begins to turn a golden-brown color.
  • Add the rinsed Jasmine rice and 2 cups of chicken broth to the pot.
  • Sprinkle in the dried thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, ground turmeric, dried parsley, and salt.
